Welcome to the Milton Keynes Canoe Club
Canoeing has something to offer everyone, from calm steady rambling around inland waters to high octane competitive racing. From exploring fantastic coastal scenery to racing down a whitewater torrent or performing ultimate playboat moves whilst playing the river.
Whatever floats your boat they all involve the same fundamental skills and provide similar fundamental pleasures and Milton Keynes Canoe Club is an excellent place to introduce you to this wonderful world.
MKCC is a family-oriented and friendly club where every one is made welcome. We are not a competitive club – although we sometimes enter competitions and have produced national champions. We do however offer training opportunities in canoeing and kayaking for all adults and children (above the age of 8years) as well as a programme of day and weekend paddles throughout the year.
The canoe club holds weekly meetings from 6.00 pm until dusk at the clubhouse during the summer and runs trips further afield at the weekends throughout the year.
In the summer we operate every Friday from Easter to the beginning of October and every Tuesday from May to the beginning of October.
